About Us

Cypress & Reed didn’t start as a business plan, it started with a life spent in the field.

For 28 years, I’ve been an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Not casually, but consistently. Early mornings before daylight.

Long sits in flooded timber. Watching the weather, the water, and the way birds move. The kind of time that teaches patience, respect, and an appreciation for the quiet parts most people overlook.

About the Brand

Somewhere along the way, I realized something was missing.

Not in the hunt, but in what represented it.

Most of what was out there didn’t feel right. It was either too loud, too commercial, or disconnected from the reality of what this lifestyle actually is. It didn’t reflect the stillness of a foggy morning, the grit of a late-season hunt, or the pride that comes from simply putting in the time. There wasn’t much that felt like it truly belonged to people who live this day in and day out.

That’s where Cypress & Reed came from.

The name is rooted in the places that shaped me—the cypress trees standing in flooded timber, and the reeds along the water’s edge where everything seems to come together. Those environments aren’t just part of the hunt, they are the hunt.

I wanted to build something that carried that feeling.

Clean, premium apparel that doesn’t try too hard. Pieces that feel just as natural in a duck blind as they do after the hunt, sitting around talking about the one that got away. Subtle designs. Timeless tones. Something that feels worn-in, not worn out.

Cypress & Reed isn’t about chasing trends or being the loudest brand in the room.
It’s about honoring where this all comes from.

It’s for the ones who understand that the best part of the hunt isn’t always the shot,
it’s the cold air, the still water, the sound of wings overhead, and the time spent getting there.

This brand is a reflection of 28 years in the outdoors,
and it’s built for people who know exactly what that means.
